Level Definitions*
Intro
Introductory students are expected to have little to no pole dance experience.
Beginner
Beginner pole students are expected to understand basic terminology, basic muscle engagement, and are able to perform introductory spins and tricks, like Fireman Spin, Attitude Spin, and Fan Kicks with consistency and confidence.
Intermediate
Intermediate pole students are expected to climb consistently and confidently. These students understand key skills like Jasmine, Figurehead, and Pencil. Intermediate students are learning or are prepared to learn inversions.
Advanced
Advanced pole students are expected to have mastered the basics of climbing, spins, and inverts from the floor. These students can consistently and confidently perform Outside and Inside Leg Hangs, Leg Switches, Crucifix, Split Grip, and Brass Hooks. Advanced students are learning or are prepared to learn Shoulder Mounts, Alternative Inverts, Handsprings or Ayeshas, and tricks with three or less points of contact.
